Results from the "Fab 4 of Nutrition" survey were distributed and discussed.
Members gave feedback about their experiences at the events. Margaret Nagase reported all facility managers were very positive about the events. There was discussion of how to improve the events, i.e., have posters and table tents in place earlier, and do more marketing prior to the events. Members made suggestions such as highlighting a "5 A Day Meal" at each facility, emphasizing good food choices, displaying examples of food measurements at the facilities (one cup, one serving).
The committee decided to have one more meeting before the end of the quarter to focus on creative ideas (for next year) to inform students about portion size, healthy options, etc. Members will seek input from other students and share at the next meeting.
Next meeting: Friday May 19, 2006, 12:00 noon, in SHS Conference Room - 2nd floor.
