FITstop - A Physical Fitness Assessment
The FITstop assessment measures your level of fitness compared to others in your age group. The four specific categories measured are: cardiovascular health; muscular strength and endurance; body weight and composition; and flexibility. We use equipment and exercises to measure your blood pressure, heart rate, percent of body fat, flexibility, cardiovascular health, endurance, abdominal strength and upper body strength.
Who does the testing?
Student Health Advocates that have been specially trained to administer this physical assessment.How long will it take?
It takes approximately 45 minutes to complete the assessment.Where do I sign up?
You do not have to sign up ahead of time - just walk in to the Wellness Room at RIMAC (near the racquetball courts), Monday from 7-9 p.m., or Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, nonrestrictive clothes that will allow you to stretch and reach easily (shorts, T-shirt, sweatshirt). Shoes with flat heels such as running shoes, tennis shoes or walking shoes are required.
