Get in Early - Get Out Quickly!

Did you know that Urgent Care and Nurse's Clinic are least busy between 8 - 10 a.m.?

Students who arrive during that time tend to be in the clinic for less than an hour, versus students who arrive during the busiest time (afternoon).

So, if you need to get to class, meet up with a friend, or would just rather be any place other than the Student Health waiting room, Get In Early - Get Out Quickly!

Better yet, schedule an appointment. If you call in the morning, same-day appointments are available for many urgent care problems. But you have to call; same-day appointments are not available online.

Urgent Care is open 8 .am. to 4:30 p.m.
there is a $10 co-pay with SHIP, $20 without SHIP, for initial evaluation and treatment. The co-pay may be waived for follow up visits.

Nurses Clinic is open 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; Wednesdays we open at 9 a.m.
Registered students pay no fee to visit Nurses Clinic. Eligible Fee-for-Service patients are charged for Nurses Clinic services.
Some expenses could be: over-the-counter items, vaccines, and the cost of the PPD used in TB skin testing.

Hours during quarter breaks and Summer Session: SHS is open regular hours, but closed 12 noon - 1pm
