All services are confidential and provided in a supportive, sensitive atmosphere. Your medical records are never released without your written consent.

Men's Health Info Sessions

Our Health Education Department offers free Men's Health Info Sessions that address health issues geared more to a man's perspective. Topics include:

  • STD prevention and other sexual health concerns
  • What's involved in an STD exam
  • Birth control and safer sex options
  • Testicular self exam
  • General health

Men's Health Info Sessions are held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. (Spring 2008) in Conf. Rm #142 - first floor of Student Health. The session includes an optional physician visit after the session, and free HIV antibody testing.

Sexual Health Info Sessions

Sessions conducted by Student Health Advocates (SHAs) are offered each academic quarter during Week 2 through Week 10. Both men and women are encouraged to attend the class. It is required for women requesting a primary exam, STD screening, or specific birth control method. There is no charge for this service. Visit the link for more info.
