Nurses' Clinic

During Academic Quarters, Nurses Clinic is open 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; Wednesdays we open at 9 a.m.

Registered students pay no fee to visit Nurses Clinic. Eligible Fee-for-Service patients are charged for Nurses Clinic services.

Some expenses could be: over-the-counter items, vaccines, and the cost of the PPD used in TB skin testing. Refer to the Cost of Services page for a list of fees.

Walk-in Services

  • ECPs - can be obtained on a walk-in basis. Check in at the front desk for directions.
  • Confidential HIV testing - can be done on a walk-in basis. Confidential testing is FREE if you have SHIP, $17.79 without SHIP. Note: If you are getting tested for travel or need documentation for any other reason, the cost is $17.79 regardless of whether you have SHIP. Check in at the front desk and request "Counseling".

  • TB Skin Testing - A two step process - PPD placement on the first visit and evaluation of PPD placement site 48-72 hours later at the second visit. Skin test placement is done every day except Thursdays. Skin test reading is done every weekday.

  • Vaccinations/Immunizations/Titers – (not travel-related) Influenza, Tetanus, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Polio, Hepatitis, Chickenpox, Meningococcal, and HPV vaccine.

  • Allergy antigen injections - students who are on a maintenance schedule of injections with an allergy specialist who meet our criteria can get their injections in the Nurses Clinic. There is a fee for this service, and the patient would supply the antigen. If you desire this service, please contact Nurses Clinic at the Group I phone number above.
  • Ear wax removal - Patients should be evaluated prior to removal, since softening of the wax should be done at home one day before the appointment. Read more about ear wax removal. To schedule an appointment, sign up in Group I or call the Group I phone number above.
