Risks associated with the use of "non-prescription" contact lenses may include:
  • allergic reactions, like itchy, watery red eyes
  • corneal abrasion - a cut or scratch on the eye
  • corneal ulcer - a painful infected lesion on the cornea
  • decreased vision
  • blindness

In order to maintain excellent visual health, a yearly eye exam is suggested. We offer a comprehensive exam that includes glaucoma screening, visual field testing, slit lamp examination, dilation and refraction.

Contact lens exams are also available. This includes the initial exam, trial lenses, teaching session, and follow-up visits. A special exam is required for contact lens astigmatism. Our staff will provide personalized fittings to assist you in selecting your contact lenses or frames.
