Student Health Service provides a full range of primary care services which continue through Summer Session.

Appt Only
Physician and Nurse Practitioner visits, Nutrition visits, Travel Consults & Physical Exams.

Walk-in
Urgent Care and First Aid for severe illness or injury only, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Nurses Clinic: Immunizations, TB & HIV testing, Monday-Friday, 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. ONLY.

Optometry
Dispensary: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed 12-1 p.m.)

Pharmacy
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed 12-1 p.m.)

Laboratory
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (open during lunchtime)

X-Ray
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (closed 12-1 p.m.)

Summer Fees

Students registered Spring 2009 with SHIP coverage: No additional fees are required for appointments. A $15 urgent care fee will be charged for students utilizing urgent care.

Continuing* UCSD Students registered Spring 2009/Other UC students in Summer Sessions: Eligible to use Student Health, including graduating, in-coming fall and summer session students (without SHIP insurance) may be seen by paying fee for service**.

* Continuing UCSD students are defined as registered in Spring 2009 and Fall 2009.
** Fee for service rates vary depending on length and complexity of problem; additional fees for lab and x-ray. See Summer Prices here.

For the convenience of our patients, charges can be billed directly to their student account unless the student chooses to pay by credit card at the time of visit.
