Undergraduate Students: How to Use SHIP
The Undergraduate Student Health Insurance Plan (USHIP) for UCSD Undergraduate students is part of the UC system-wide health insurance program. The plan provides comprehensive medical, and dental coverage for registered students and their dependents. While coverage for registered students is automatic, the dependent plan is voluntary.
Coverage for medical, hospital, and pharmacy is provided through Anthem Blue Cross. Coverage for dental is provided through Delta Dental.
