Weight Clinic

We offer a Weight Management Group for students during academic quarters. A dietitian, a psychologist and a physician facilitate the weekly meetings that focus on diet, exercise and behavior modification.

In addition, all students are eligible to have one-on-one meetings with one of our dietitians for diet and nutrition counseling. A computerized analysis of the student's diet is generated based on the patient's daily intake. Students can make an appointment for Nutrition Counseling by calling the Central Scheduling phone (858) 534-8089.

All students are also encouraged to check out the Personal Wellness Program through the UCSD Recreation Department. This free 10-week program focuses on wellness, and is offered each quarter. Contact RIMAC at (858) 534-4037 for more information.

For more information, please feel free to contact Heather Cohen, MPH, RD at hmccracken@ucsd.edu or call (858) 534-2058.
