Physical Therapy

Physical therapists use evidenced-based techniques, hands-on care, and specific exercises to improve mobility, enhance joint stability, restore muscle balance, build functional strength, and improve healthy movement patterns so patients can return to the activities that matter most. Beyond restoring function, physical therapy also teaches patients the skills to continue long-term health gains while reducing the risk of future re-injury.

Common Injuries

  • Sports and recreation Injuries
  • Posture-related injuries
  • Ligament sprains
  • Muscle strains
  • Fractures
  • Overuse/repetitive stress injuries
  • Spine pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Elbow/wrist/hand pain
  • Hip pain
  • Ankle & foot pain

Rehabilitation Process

  1. Evaluate joints, muscles, and movement patterns to determine the root cause of pain or injury.
  2. Develop an individualized plan of care designed to address functional deficits and support the achievement of goals.
  3. Restore functional movement by building the appropriate mobility, neuromuscular coordination, and strength needed to confidently return to desired activities.
  4. Return to activities with new knowledge and skills to maintain progress, build toward long-term success, and prevent re-injury.
